CriManto
so i was wondering if there is a tool/mod that let me use a character (that already defeated the archdemon) in a new campaign, something like importing the same character in another new campaign. Thandal
DAO itself has no "import" capability at all, so the short answer to your question is: "No." One can only take the same Warden through the entire game in the following order: DAODAAGoAWH One cannot take a Warden "back in time", (without haking the .das file) so if a Warden finished DAO and then completed GoA, that character could not be imported to DAA. CriManto
hey ty for the answeri'd like to ask what do you mean by hacking the .das file, can you explain please?
Thandal
There's a field in the .das that indicates which game the save belongs to. The internal logic of the import function won't allow a Warden from a later game's save to be used to begin an earlier one. With the right tools one can decrement the game number in the .das and fool the import. It's been a long time since I looked into this, (can't even remember the exact steps) but I have done it just to verify that it can be done. Can't say the result was any fun... too overpowered. Might as well play on "Casual".

Thandal
The file is your main Dragon Age Save (".das") file. The tool is the DA Toolset.

willjk57
I dont want to seem nosey but why is this important for you? You want to be invincible when you start a new game? There are easy ways to give yourself an unfair advantage at the start anyway. What I would love to have would be "a some way thing" that allows my warden to continue into DA2 (yep, totally in the realm of impossibility), which to me (ok slay me here) would give me a reason to go thru that again.
