Attacked by the guards !!

Hi,

I completed the thief quests, the dark brother hood quests.

I have no bounty, and don't wear the thief hood.

 

I have a problem on the early main quest, the quest where I must meet bird to close the bruma gate.

 

When I arrives, the guards attack me !!! And burd is watching at me without attacking.

 

Sometimes ALL the guards attack me, sometimes only two of them.

 

What the hell is the problem with them ?? I can feel their hate !!

 

Mod installed : "turnofflights", "Dcvilelair" "darkbrotherhood hood replacement" only.

 

If you have clue why this behavior...

I don't know exactly what is causing it. Maybe an old bounty? You could try surrendering by pressing the block button and activating one of the guards. If they like you enough they will stop attacking you.

just go in jail. after they shouldn't attack you

What is your Personality level score?

 

If you can activate one of them and play the face game you'll probably find they have a very low level (like 20 or so -- or less). If you have already done the Corrupt Official quest (can't remember the exact name) there are some that I guess were friends of his who hold a grudge I think.

 

I have a personality score of well over 100 because of my stat mod, and I met a couple of Legionnaires who were downright hateful even with my personality of like 150.. I played the face game and one of them told me "I just don't like you". So I bribed him a lot.

 

Seriously my personality was so high that when I did Boethia's quest, I had to hurry and enchant some drain personality pants, because some of my opponents were all "Hi! It's great to see you!" -- And I'm like, "Dude, we're supposed to be fighting."

 

In your case, you may want to add a bunch of personality boosting enchantments and spells before you go.
