Any way of getting high res hands??

With all these nice weapon and landscape replacement textures, I haven't yet found a mod that makes your hands (or gloves) have more than about 4 pixels. Are there any?

I was wondering this the other day. There has to be something restricting the ability to do it, otherwise you'd think someone would have done it by now. There's retextures of everything in this game, you think someone would have thought to do the one thing you're looking at constantly throughout the entire game, so I figure there has to be a reason why you can't do it. Beats me though.
