GECK crashes when entering data into the "Created By" fields.

So I'm putting the finishing touches on a mod I've been working on for a few years and it is ready for release. HOWEVER, when I go into the "Created By" or "Summary" fields, I am unable to enter anything without the GECK crashing.

 

I have gone to the lengths of uninstalling my entire Steam collection, uninstalling Steam. Doing a cleanup with CCleaner. rebooting, re-installing everything from scratch.... and I am still getting the same problem. I tried creating a new blank esp file in the GECK and I still can't edit any fields. I've installed other mods that already have those fields filled out and attempted to edit those.... still crashes.

 

Anyone know what is going on?

It never works for me either, just seems to be one of those GECK features that just straight up broken.

 

I use FNVEdit when I need to enter author or description.

Run the geck as admin
