Armor and possibly weapon Replacements

there are tons of female armor replacemenents but i have never found any for males, and a weapon replacement i feel is necessary.

i want replacements for all light and heavy armor in the game,ofcourse its i doubt it will be 1 mod...probably 20 xD..but if you could please help i would be grateful

What body are you using? Vanilla? One of the Robert body shapes? What kind of replacements? Higher resolution? There are several kinds of mods that do this. Some are collections which replace all stock armor, generally to make it fit a custom body but there are higher resolution and recolored ones for vanilla also. Then there are individual mods that significantly change one or more pieces but not usually all pieces. Those tend to be more unique but some people only replace one piece they dislike. A helmet for example.

Ok, I am still not sure if you're using the default body or a replacement body. But this file lists ALL the male armors on the site. It should help. :)

Wow, those lists are very helpful, thanks for linking to them. Kudos to you, Telyn.

 

I would also reccomend looking up anything by AlienSlof. She seems to prefer to make meshes for masculine characters. Other good resources include the Armory of the Silver Dragon, Bob's armory and Trollf's Armamentarium files. Bob's and Trollf's require some merging with Wrye Bash or Obmm, but shouldn't be too difficult to use.

While these mods add armors in both male and female versions, they add so many new meshes and textures that you should be able to piece it all together. Bob's and Armamentarium add items to the leveled lists, so the items appear on npc's, creating a wonderful diversity of looks.

There is a male armor replacer out there, one that conforms more toward Roberts male body (doesnt make your character look so fat)

 

replaces all stock clothes/armor

 

but i cant for the life of me find it

 

i tried searching my past post/content but i forgot someone answered it in the mod detectives section so its unlisted

but it is there ... somewhere... in the mid late 700's or early mid 800's page...
