doux99
I am having trouble making a mod and was wondering if anyone could either make it for me or point me to a tutorial for 3ds max 2015. The mod was going to be borderlands weapons. Thanks!

flamenx01
3ds max 2015 doesn't have a nif plugin. To get it in the format to fallout you'll need to import it to 3ds max 2012 or blender (I know 2.49b has a nif plugin not sure about the newer versions) to convert it to nif format. KangarooSwag
What I suggest you do is model the mesh in 3ds Max, export as an .obj file, open in Blender 2.49 and export as nif. This will require you to install Python and nifscripts, which is a fairly laborious task. (At least for me :))
devinpatterson
There is a portable blender (ver 2.49b) that is completely self contained (no installation worries) here. It's what I use.
