kubrtbc
Console command "sqv VMS02" doesn't work in my game (error: VMS02 not found as QUEST parameter). But "sqv 0008D0E3" works fine. The same problem with setstage command etc. Does anybody know, what is the matter?
ita
VMS02 is the EditorID, 0008D0E3 is the FormID. Not sure why the console requires the FormID when using commands. The wiki offers some info about this.
quicksilverva
if im not mistaken, the game only recognizes the formID, which is probably why the console doesn't recognize VMS02 as a valid QUEST parameter. the editorID is used mainly for the GECK to make it easier to identify the objects inside the GECK

This is really bad surprise in FNV
