ka06059 Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 hi there, i cant find skeleton .nif in fallout 3 folders, any idea on where does it located, im going to use it to create costum animation with blender. i expect some of you saying the skeleton nif is at Data/Meshes/characters.... but the problem is, the characters folder did not even exist just after i installed the game!!! any help? satanslilhelper Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 All the "Official" meshes and textures are in archives called .bsa files. If you open the bsa called "Fallout - Meshes" (I use FOMM for this), you will find all the meshes used in the vanilla game. You can then extract the file(s) you want to wherever you want, so you can work on them,As to the one you want, I'm guessing you might want meshes/clutter/skeleton? Haven't had cause to look in there myself, but I've seen it in passing. Or do you mean the one that alters your player charaters body? That would probably be in the folder you mentioned.
