Latch85
It has always bothered me in all game that whether you completely cover your facial features or not, they always know it is you. I was wondering if it would be at all possible to make a mask that hides the character's identity. I figure it should be possible considering the Shroud of Nocturnal one gets in the game changes your characters identity to everyone around him/her. So, why can't a mask be made to hide a character's identity. Here is an example: I break into a house wearing this mask and get caught so the guards start to chase me, I lose the guards after running in some alleys, jumping on a few roof tops, etc, and then remove the mask and change my clothing. Then I hit the streets, and the guards run right by me. Now I know that alot of people would use this mask simply to put it on, kill someone, and take it off so they can't be caught. Whatever, they want to play like that they have that option. But I think it would be kind of cool to have a mask like that so I could roleplay my rogue a little bit better. I know I probably got my thoughts all jumbled up in this, but I hope whomever reads this can understand the main point of my idea. Let me know what you modders out there thinkg, and most of all if this would even be possible. Thanks

Thanks I read somewhere that the greyfoxes mask or shroud of nocturnal had a bug in it and you ended up getting chased whether you took it off or not, you might want to try searching under gray fox I know I had a mod correcting this problem before, maybe Im reading your post wrong but that sounds like its it, not sure on the disguise mod never used it.Btw you might want to be careful next time you describe wat you want as most "mod requests" belong in the request thread

When you put it on, the guards will chase you. When you are still detected by the guards and you take it off, they will chase you. To stop them from chasing you after you take it off, just yeild, and everything will be taken care of, and you will have no bounty. i don't know if thats the bug you were talking about but it might be. I think it is, I'd have to do thieves guld quest again to be sure. I can't remember is it was a problem with being chased down or a bounty prob, but I read somewhere a while back that the mask had some glitches.
