Favorites List

Hello,

I have a suggestion. While NexusMods isn't a retail site, it certainly can feel like one. There are literally thousands of mods to look through and download, which can ultimately lead to some frustrating experiences, at least for me. Not only are there many different kinds of mods, there are several that are similar and address the same issue, or change the same aspect of the game, albeit in different ways. Also, the sheer number of mods leads to exhaustion. Admittedly, I'm a mod junkie, so I'll open up multiple tabs of mods over an extended period of time. After downloading, I close them of course (because, well, I'm done now. Its downloaded).

But when I play the game (FO3 or Skyrim for example) for a while, uninstall, and come back to it later, I have to go through the extremely long process of 'mod hunting' again. As a mod junkie, I don't download 4 or 5 mods. I download 100 or more. I have a proposal that would alleviate some of the issues that mod junkies like myself might face.

A Favorites List.

Simple as that. Let me add a mod to a Favorite's List. Let me name that Favorite List and save it to my account. What were all those mods I downloaded 2 years ago for Skyrim? I wish I knew. Now I have to 'shop' for an extended period of time for mods again. (Which is fun, yes, but can be exhausting).

I recently reinstalled FO3 again. I'm excited to install mods again, but as a mod junkie I'll be going through about a hundred of them....all over again. (I can't remember half their names) If I had a list of Favorited mods, I could pull that list up, and perhaps there is a 'Download Now' button on the right side of the item, or 'View Mod Page' button or whatever. Or simply make the mod name a hyperlink to the mod page.

Perhaps games like Dragon Age, Witcher 2, or Dark Souls aren't as exhausting to shop mods for, but they only have a few hundred or more mods available. Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout etc have thousands upon thousands. I'd like to create a simple list of my favorite mods so that I can come back to them in the future. Not to mention, when I'm away from home and just searching NexusMods for a killer FO mod on my phone or another computer, I can't download the mod. I away from home, afterall. But if I could add that mod to my favorite list, then I could 'shop' for mods remotely while maintaining and orderly list of my favorites.

Just a thought. We can 'track' mods now, but adding them to a Favorites List would be so great. Something akin to what Amazon or Newegg does where you can add items to a favorite list.
