Mkilbride
So anyways, just found out there were mods for this and decided to try QUITE a list of them lol. B Textures with 4Aces High Res texturesDragon Age: Redesigned (makes the game closer to the Lore)The fix to make chars look more like the trailersNo helmet mod(keep stats)Natural bodiesWeapon replacer(adds a ton of awesome weapons)A fixed UI modMore Hairstyles modNo starting abilities(Makes it so you can manually place abilities)125 slot inventory by defaultBetter QuickbarAdvanced TacticsDialogue fix(re-arranges dialogue to make more sense, random chat won't be said before something happens, adds more immersion) Now, the hair mod works, I'm sure, because I'm using a non-default hair. I used the Mod Manager 1.9 to install mods that it could, and as for ones it couldn't, I used the other Mod Manager. Now, the 125 slots ,I don't see them, but it shows up in the mod manager list. I put JB Textures in Over-ride, and then put 4Aces textures in over-write to over-write them, replaced, bam. See, the weird thign was, JB Textures just unpacks straight into the OVer-ride folder, but 4Aces goes into a Texture folder, but I was told I had to put them in the same folder, so by putting them in the over-ride directory with JB's, they are working, right? Things look decently high res. I also notice the better quickbar mod doesn't seem to work, it shows an arrow in the screenshot, but I don't have it. Manual starting abilities work. Natural bodies, I have that installed, but should I with DA:Re-designed? I can't honestly tell so far if anythings been different, I haven't played in over year and a half or so. (Since DA came out) So I'm rather confused, it seems some mods are, and some aren't working.
Thandal
Welcome, Mkilbride! While it won't amswer all your questions (you've chosen so pretty complex mods there) take a look at this article: "Using DA Mods for Dummies". It'll give you a better understanding of where/how to use what. (F'rinstance: the "\override" folder where "JB's Textures" is placed is NOT the same one as everything else you mention. It is a special case, and goes under the "\Program Files" folder, instead of the "\[player's documents]", like most mods. And as far as I'm aware, there isn't anything called an "overwrite" folder at all.) Let us know more after youv've reviewed that.

It seems after re-loading, some of the other mods are working. Textures are wonky though, saw a NPC change into like 3 outfits just by moving the camera around, some side props like the tents change rainbow colors, too. And I didn't put them in the players documents, I put them in the Program Files one, the texture mods that is. And great, I just loaded and now I am getting crashes whenever I face a direction, but it was working fine when I saved, but now it's suddenly...broken? I don't understand. Thandal
Yeah, you're having conflicts between different things you've loaded. F'rinstance, you have three different textures packs listed. As it says in the instructions. "Dragon Age Redsigned" absolutely REQUIRES "Dracomies True Textures", which are incompatible with "JB's" (not sure about 4Aces'", never used it.) You have to pick ONE. Mkilbride
Are, you serious? You can't use them together? That's so lame. Also, I had no problems with any textures in the castle, not a one, which I find is BS that the camp suddenly has tons. JBTextures or DA-Redesigned...what should I pick? I uninstalled DA-Redesigned, and it still crashes when I go in that direction, though if I don't go in it, everything works fine. I noticed flickering gone from units, so I think that fixed it. Abit irked though, as I wanted high res textures + DA Redesigned, so I could have awesome character models + great terrain...I wish there was a mix in between. It seems to crash now whenever I go into the main camp at Ostagar...but it worked FINE while I was playing it, then I saved, quit, loaded later and have had this crash since then...so it's weird it worked one. I reloaded to save in the castle and beat it, camp works now, but...hmm What do you recommend, JBTextures + 4Aces, or DA:Redesigned + 4Aces?
