Vagrant0 Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 thanks you guys are great. my comp is in the shop, but it should be back today, and i will try out that script (should of thought of that way before i even started this thread). I think i see a problem though. If you add 1 repair hammer, use it in the repairing, then take it away and theres nothing there, what will happen? will it cause the game to crash? or is it fine like it is?If there is nothing to remove, it won't. If the player has other hammers in their inventory, one of those will be removed. You can however check to make sure that the player has one in their inventory, record how many they have, add one via script, use the added one, then remove any additional hammers they may have gained since starting. You guys (Vagrant0 and Abramul) will definetly be getting credit. Thank you for all of your help. i am using Abramuls script, but Vagrant still helped in the early stages to keep it going.
