well, shared.com is very fast, I use ghostery so I don't see any of the fluff. should be instant so something is wrong in the address your using.

ok mmm, yeah installed, I have most of Gnr stuff but I was not aware of that massive 1+gig update, here, the gnr.esp showed missing assets, so I have mu linux system downloading it now.

I will try and get as much data as possible installed here under your nexus ID name on my system for your saved game file.

Don't worry about space...I have more than I need.

recheck what your doing making an account, take your time..it's most likely a miss hit of the keys.

so far, here's what i got for you.

How it should look less any Fose mods, with an exception of the (sprint .esp), I do have them, I just don't want to screw up my font tables with junk. The OS and Games main data folders are clean, they are going to remain that way.

waiting.

I never received a verification email from 2share despite numerous attempts at having them resend the email. Never got it, so I can't send the save file that way.

Question - could I in theory keep that save file, uninstall the game and all of the mods, reinstall the vanilla game and then load up that save and save it again in the vanilla game? Thereby resetting it myself. Then add back all the mods without BGP? Would that work?

Could I even try installing FO3 again to a completely different disk and folder and try the same thing?

I think I understand what you're saying - I need a vanilla copy of that save, no mods, to get rid of the damage BGP has done. Is that right or am I totally off base?

The load order needs to be correct so all data lines up correctly...this process IF the saved game will load, rips out the bad stuff.

Your system Replacements Game must be renamed to another name so any "residual past name sake " can not influence the data Thus residing in windows Prefetch and backed up xlive directories.

there are too many reasons to type out to Guide you properly.

Yes, any drive will do, any name other than this one will do.

A different email worked, not sure why as the first one was typed in correctly. Anyway here's the file:

http://www.2shared.com/file/FzJjk_ZX/Save_132_-_Rocketpants_My_Mega.html

I loaded this and saved using Fallout3.exe, no FOSE or any other loaders.

So is the GNR mod showing as not working correctly? I did wonder about that. I haven't heard anything close to "100 new songs in the game". The radio sounds the same to me.

I'm away for the weekend so I can't do much besides reply to any questions. I really appreciate all your help so far, if we can fix this save it'd be amazing. I noticed today in playing for a bit on a separate save file that some of the DLC causes instant ctd as well, so I'm at the conclusion now that the game is totally broken.

I'm also prepared to accept at some point that I may have to completely wipe the game and start over with a fresh install, in which case I may need your help in adding back in the mods that I'd like to use (for example MMM and the sprint mod I don't actually like much and would happily not install again).

Darn plugin here is what was causing the issues, most likely due to the fact i did not edit any ini files.

Regardless, I made it to lamplight and there are no issues found. So, the saved game is valid as I received it.

I am including a start of a run thru with another mod addition to spice up the programming a bit.

Current read out is here + I am adding on all "(OCD)" packages I can lay my hands on to Push the game as hard as i can with this saved game.

some of these are custom built or renamed to fit the occasion. I use custom edits to fix some mods known to have bad data or bad linked in data.

when all else fails, I load 1 last mod to find the bugs with.

It's the pink one there, it sort of slaps em all back silly. So far, have not required it.

I'm being slow, you might have to explain it to me more, but.... you are saying the save is okay and that the first list should be my load order? Do I need your copy of the save that you made?

Sorry, I'm not entirely following what we're doing at this point.
