Experimental MIRV 2.0 for New Vegas

I know someone has already made one of these that appears to function just like the one in Fallout 3 does.

What I'm looking for is a Mirv re-make. So that it actually has 8 launch racks and 8 nukes in it. Or, a new model that uses tubes.

Maybe arrange them in a honeycomb cluster of 2 4 2, so that the top and bottom 2 are nestled into the space between the 4, so that it looks like

--o-----o

o---o-o---o

--o-----o

All sitting on one shoulder-mount with one trigger. Obviously it would have to be offset from the shoulder so the user's head wouldn't be in the way.

I liked this weapon, it's fun to use even if it's completely overkill, but it irked me that instead of coming up with a new model for it Bethesda just used the Fat Man model and said 'oh, well one mini-nuke can multiply like tribbles the moment you pull the trigger.'

you know that's the point, right? it's supposed to split into multiple projectiles but originally be just one that's what MIRV means

anyway you might be looking for just the MIRV and not a whole overhaul but I know that the Dandys Replayability mod comes with special MIRV ammunitions that can be loaded into any fatman instead of a separate weapon, and they can be made with 8 mini nukes at a work bench

the gun that you're suggesting with lots of different launchers in one sounds cool too though

kind of like a RYNO

Except that you can clearly see that what flies out of the MIRV is 8 full-sized mini-nukes. And each projectile does the same damage and has the same blast area of effect as a full-sized mini-nuke.

Additionally, in a MIRV missile, the missile contains several warheads. It is the MIRV vehicle itself that opens and releases the warheads. The warheads themselves do not split apart like cluster bombs.

So, you can think of the MIRV launcher as the equivalent of the missile, the vehicle, and under that interpretation, it makes much more sense for each warhead (mini nuke) to have its own launch tube or catapult.

So back to what I was originally asking for, yes, I am requesting a re-introduction and overhaul of the Experimental MIRV. It should look like you're holding a big ol' mechwarrior rocket launcher on your shoulder or something, and be appropriately large so that it would look implausible to wield it unless you were wearing power armor.
