wakeboy3
Lucario, if you wait for Fallout 4, this is something that I myself would enjoy looking into as well. I feel that with the implementation of base building, this idea would be much easier.

I don't think the scripting would be to bad if you were just enabling tilesets that had already been laid down in the geck. Essentially you'd just have a two tiered menu. The first menu would be types of architechual elements (say "corridors" for instance) and the 2nd would have the specific piece. I forget how many buttons you can fit on a menu, but lets say for the sake of argument it's 8 buttons. That's as many as 64 (8* individual tile sets you could choose from. And if you had 3 levels of the menu it would be 512. The hassle is snapping 64 (disabled) tiles down for each spot, and dealing with transitions. But since tiles are made to fit together and come in standard sizes it might be possible to use scripting exclusively to plop them down with placeAtMe, by using the previously placed tile as the object in; [Object].PlaceAtMe ObjectID. I think there is the question of save game bloat with placeAtMe and I'm sure a lot of other details that could be show stoppers. Might be worthwhile contacting Gribble, Gopher or Jazzi and tapping some serious scripting knowhow.
