Juiceless Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 I don't know whats the problem. I've tried re-installing Oblivion and deselecting all of my mods. I just don't know what else to do. It could have been because I done something in the CS. I clicked on World > World Testing then something after that and since then, Oblivion hasn't worked for me. Guest Tessera Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 You need to totally wipe out the entire installation... as in, manually deleting all of the game's files and then re-installing. That includes any files in your Documents and Settings folders, as well as any corrupted gamesave files. It would take too long to track down the exact files that got wrecked, so just bite the bullet and totally wipe it out. Stay away from bad mods (most are these days) and also, make a backup copy of the new installation, once you're sure that it's working properly. I do not recommend using the Construction Set unless you have an emergency copy of the game's files, backed up and ready to restore if needed. Or is it just the main file and the game saves? Edit: Nevermind, I fixed it (somehow). I deleted all my Official Plugins that I got from the KOTN DVD, must've been some error on one of them, and then re-installed them and it works like a steam engine running on greasy tracks =P.
