TheSpaceShuttleChallenger Posted August 17, 2015 Share Posted August 17, 2015 (edited) There are a lot of skills and software to learn related to modding--which ones you'll need is going to depend on what sort of things you want to create. The best place to start is to pick a skill and come up with a simple project using that skill. Want to code? Make a simple quest. Want to model? Start with a retex of a vanilla object, then make a weapon or furniture piece. Want to build? Make a house. You can learn to do all of those skills over time, but for a beginner, it's best to take it one skill at a time.If you absolutely have no idea what project you want to do and you just want to learn the skills, then the creation kit wiki will walk you through simple projects to help get your feet wet.
