DontBanMeBro1
Something to help loot containers that are lootable but can not be opened because of geometry conflicts with other objects or the surrounding environment like crates underneath stairs or because they are too high up to target like some of the shelves on the walls or stacked barrels. I am sure many of you have encountered this and while it is annoying and usually only affects crates and barrels, it can also affect chests. Right now, I am looking at a lootable chest in some ship wreckage but can't open it because of the surrounding wreckage. I thought that maybe being able to interact with containers in free cam could help. http://i.imgur.com/2p2Xh3h.png Edited August 17, 2015 by DontBanMeBro1
Drone456
Would definitely like if this didn't happen as well, it's highly irritating. However I have a suggestion that could potentially work for you hopefully, which is that if you use the debug console enabler and activate free cam, you can press X (on an xbox controller, not sure if there's one for keyboard) I believe to teleport to wherever that free cam is. I had a small crate that I wanted to loot, and wasn't able to normally. Using this method enabled me to get a weird angle that allowed me to finally loot it. This took a little time/frustration though (also think it was just a mug or some s#*! lol), so be prepared should you wish to do this. It also might not work, since yours is laid out differently than what mine was. Good luck man, and hopefully somebody can fix this issue from even ever happening.
