Mod manager is not merging the mod

Hi guys,

apparently I've installed v0.53 mod manager. Unfortunately, 1 I get a message "Task failed. Error reported was: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." It seems to get stuck at Win32/da3/inquisitorbase2/mainbase/mainbase_dlc1.

Now, I am unsure if I've even used a right mod. I've installed Redcliffe Crafting Supply V2 More Silverite which seems to be an update to the original mod but maybe that's a wrong one. Or it's something else. I don't know but either way I can get it to work.

If anyone has a suggestion I'd be very grateful.

Thanks!

EDIT: thanks but it's fixed

Glad you got things sorted.

Care to let us know what the issue turned out to be, and what resolved it?

(Someone else might be stuck with the same problem and looking for a solution)

I have the same problem.

I downloaded the version v0.51 and I have problems.
I did all like in the video and the text description of the DAI mod manager. But after I did click on "Choose custom merge destination (Update --> "merged" folder) and then on "Merge"
there was (in every .daimod data i chose) the same failure.

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

I read a bit on the internet about this problem and there it said I have to patch / install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 and after I did this the computer told me it´s already installed.

Can anybody help?

If your game is fully patched (to Patch 9) then you need the newest release of the DAIModManager, which is version 0.57. (V0.51 is very very old and long deprecated.)

The nascent DAI modding utilities are best kept up-to-date via the DAITools Suite Loader, which checks for and downloads the latest beta.
