1SaBy
I just got a new PC and I tried moving my modded New Vegas game there. I copied the whole game folder, including the Data folder, and also the New Vegas' folder in My Documents/My Games. I pasted these over my fresh Steam download of FNV (though I don't know in what order) and it kind of broke my save game when I loaded it. JIP Companions Command and Control does not work for me anymore though when I started a new game it seemed to be working just fine. I tried reinstalling the game along with the mods a few times via NMM but always the same result. I don't really know whether something else broke so I'm asking for help here. I put 40 hours into this save game and I'd like to continue it. The save game works just fine on the older PC. I have the Fallout New Vegas enplczru version if that makes any difference. So could someone here please post a step by step instructions list of what to do? Thank you.

Purr4me
On the new PC...use browser to go to steam home page.Download steam from there and install Just steam alone.when stems completes, it will tell you that it can see your using a different PC and will update you "new PC" to handle what you purchased.when it logs on. you must exit fast.. close steam down completely. your current PC has the games and software's loaded. windows has a program transfer application for laptop to PC docking station application.I will upload a demo screen shot of this application so you can use it.http://s26.postimg.org/lj1vv3iix/Provided.jpgplease read all you can about this "first" and know once this is done, there is no returning it back the way it was. the other way is to image the steam folder and hope you have the power and space to do so. An image "iso" can be copied and extracted back into it's origins. Doing that still means you need all the legal data from steam....which will be replaced when you run steam...it will up date and replace files it finds sitting in there. transferring the data is a better option.
