Feeling a bit desperate with mods

Decided to start playing again on my desktop but, as I've played only vanilla on it, I had to get some mods first. I installed them and then got the 'no disc'-error and had to reinstall ('fix'-option on Origin) a digital copy.

I reinstalled my .dazip mods again afterwards and they show up on the DLC list but, when trying to create a character, none of my CC-mods show. I did everything I did the last time when I put mods in my game on my laptop, which worked just fine, but now there's just the vanilla options.

I have the compiler and I used it and I've redone it three times so I don't think the chargenmorph is the problem (even tried using a copy from my laptop).

I tried to look online but didn't find anything that seemed similar and can't come up with anything that would fix it.

I have all my mods in the core/override and in subfolders in subfolders, but I don't think the number of those matters.

Have Win8.1, Ultimate Edition on Origin and NO Improved Athmosphere (eventhough it never affected this part negatively).

When you start a new game, you need to disable DLCs through the Downloadable Content tab, force-load if necessary, save once you have a Warden and then enable them again. It's because otherwise the things have problems spawning. Always run this mod when adding new sets to be used in the chargen: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/971/?. "Remove bad references" is a good option too.

Are you sure your firewall/antivirus doesn't block things? I know many instances when adding an exception helped to fix games.

I see that I was ridiculously vague. I mean all of my CC-mods, even the ones in my override file, like Bidelle's and Pineappletree's mods.

I had no problems with this on my other Computer, so I wondered if the routes could be different or some mod could block them all out or something.

Tried the exceptions, didn't help.

Nevermind. The thing was just apparently derping because of some backups (I didn't know my desktop is this stupid). There are some blanks, no shows and the game crashes on some presets but at least it mostly works.

Oh, backups are sneaky like that sometimes. If you would care to tell us more about where you encounter blanks and so on, perhaps something could be done about those too.

And regarding clothes showing up as invisible... This happens when the creator didn't design a particular body. Imagine the frustration to find good non-vanilla armour for Sten with his Qunari build :D.
