The 7-zip program unlike the others is absolutely FREE. No nag screen, no trial, just FREE. Then it will be able to uncompress any zip type file, 7z, rar or zip Like Hemmingwey said, unless you are creating your own mods there is no reason to open the dds files. just allow thw 7-zip program to place them where they go.
