AurianaValoria1
Here's the wiki article on the astronomy of the Elder Scrolls: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Astronomy I think that Oblivion is intended to be a separate plane of existence. It is described as the void surrounding Mundus, or the mortal plane. If I remember correctly, there are more planets in the solar system of Magnus (the sun) that includes Nirn (upon which are the continents of Tamriel, Akavir, Atmora, Yokuda, etc.). Those planets and their moons, I think, are named after the gods. I don't believe they are the planes of Oblivion, although I could be wrong. I think there is an explanation somewhere as to why Masser is red... Here's another article on Masser: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Masser One on Secunda: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Secunda And here's a link to the Imperial Library's section on Cosmology: http://www.imperial-library.info/content/cosmology The whole thing is open to interpretation, really. I hope those links will help you better understand what you're looking at in the night sky!
