Povuholo Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 How do you install mods with meshes and textures. Readmes don't help!Either you downloaded a mod with a crappy readme, but usually they are clear if you understand English. It's really not that difficult. Take a look at this thread. And post mod questions in the modifications section next time :)
Fierypurpose Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 im curious do u need knights of the nine expansion for the mods to work?
Povuholo Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 im curious do u need knights of the nine expansion for the mods to work? That's thread hijacking, but most of the times, no. There are a few like the ones modifying the Knights of the Nine armor, but most mods don't require the expansion. If you do need it for a mod, it's probably mentioned on the download page.
Switch Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Yes, please don't hijack Fierypurpose. But welcome to the forums! And welcome chris07. Your question has been covered quite comprehensively, have a look around (and at the link Pov gave you). I'll move this to General Mod Talk for now, in case you have any further problems.

Povuholo Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 how do you extract files though? I have mod manager if that helps. How to do that should be in the thread I linked to. But what is the extension of the file? They are usually .rar .zip or .7z. You can extract them using Winrar ( WinRAR 3.61 for Windows (English version) ), which is free.
fat_guy Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Or Download 7z on win7z.com, it automatically sorts out whatever you copy or extrarcts and can preview the compressed folder for you. Also Remember the correct directory on which your extracting or else
