SoulofChrysamere
Hmm, this sounds like it could be a decent alternate history roleplay. I'll give a character and if enough interest arises, I might join in!
TasslehofBurrfoot
Introducing Jildirlen'n Amamashi Portrait imageAge: 43 cycles of Sun's Dusk. A mere child by Human standards, equal to about 16 years old.Gender: FemalePersonality: Shy and quiet, but curious of new things. May go days without uttering a single word. At home in the woodland and in the mountains but fond of short visits into the Imperial City. Prefers to have a single companion for company but may not indulge in conversation.Race: Wood Elf ( Asian Elf mod )Class Shadow RangerWeapons: Pathfinder's Bow, Bowie Knife "Fang", Eye color: Blood RedHair Color: CharcoalClothing: Simple maiden's blouse made with enchanted thread that will protect her from injury, a gift from her mother. Ranger's trousers which blend into the vegetation have been enchanted to give her endurance, a gift from her father. Large enchanted green cloak that protects from fire and provides warmth in the harshness of Evening Star's cold wind and snow. Ranger's equipment belt, bracers or archer's shooter gloves. Usually barefoot. History:Jildirlen'n Amamashi, was named after her father, Jildirlen'n and her grandmother, Amamashi. She grew up in an isolated village of huts nestled in the Valus Mountains in the border reaches of Cyrodiil and Morrowind. She had a fun and and happy childhood. Both of her parents were loving and caring to both her and her little brother, ever doting upon them. Amamashi's mother is a accomplished ranger and game hunter for her village larder. From an early age she began to teach Amamashi the ways of the forest and mountains, how to shoot the bow to kill small game, how to handle the axe and blade, how to track game, how to blend in with the leaves and be still and move when the wind moves the pine needles. Her father taught her how to be a fighter and handle the sword. She loved the taunt feel of the pull of the bow that she learned at the hands of her mother and loved equally the dance of the fighter she learned from her father. Her father made the training fun and enjoyable. The fleetness and deftness of the feet, the dance of the blade in the air. Her lessons were filled with giggling as she easily caught on to the kata of swordplay beneath the pines of the mountains under the stars of the night sky. Her parents' hunt and sword lessons where always taught under the cloak of the dark sky as predators of the night they were, while her days were spent napping idly under the sun, swimming in the cold mountain streams with the other children and learning the ancient elven magic from the village elders. Her favorite spells called upon the creatures of the woodlands to answer her summons. Although it was a spell of conjuration, she felt as if it were a request of her forest friends to come to visit her as one friend would go to the hut of another and ask the mother if her child was allowed to play. From the earliest age she was able to call a mother wolf and cub as her protector. Some believe that the wolves are in fact ancestor spirits that have come to protect her journey and not just mere wild beasts of the woods. Amamashi's father often climbed down from the mountains to visit the lower provinces for a few days. A long journey, but when he returned he had stories of adventure. Her mother explained that Jildirlen'n was a Blade agent who served loyally to the Emperor Uriel Septim. On few occasion he was sent for summons to attend a mission requiring the expertise of agents of woodland lore. Blade missions are notably dangerous but, those that serve secretly to stop the forces aligned against the emperor face double the amount of risk. The risks were great, but understood and accepted as is a great honor to serve the emperor. Usually Jildirlen'n's mission last no more than a week or two. But when he left and didn't return for three weeks Amamashi's mother began to worry. He had never been gone that long. News of the crisis had reached their village and rumors of horrible creatures that crossed into Cyrodiil through flaming gates caused fears of invasion. Though the village was isolated everyone considered it their duty to protect the emperor even with their own lives. News soon came that the Oblivion gates had been finally closed by some great hero working under the Blades and Cloud Ruler Temple. Many of the young warriors had gone to fight the Daedra. Something else was happening now of great concern. It was soon learned that the Ayleid Elves sought to regain control of the Empire and the lands of Cyrodiil that they once ruled centuries ago! Amamashi knew what she must do. She gathered her weapons, food and her cloak. She called her horse Spirit and her wolf companions and set out to find her father. Having made up her mind, she stole away at dawn to leave the mountains. She left quietly so no one would try to talk her out of her resolution because she was not yet old enough for the Ceremony of the Warrior and thus still considered a child. HephaestusAndrocus
Here's my character: Introducing Hephaestus Androcus: Age: 19Gender: MalePersonality: Short-tempered but friendlyRace: ImperialClass: Warrior, but able to perform more stealthy operations. Also trained in the basics of magic, most skillful with DestructionHair colour: BlackEye colour: BlueEquipment of choice: A full set of Ebony with longsword for open combat, leather with ebony dagger for stealthMisc. info: Named Hephaestus after the Roman god of fire due to his surprising skill with fire magic for a warrior; born in Kvatch and tought to fight because his father was a mid-ranking Fighter's Guild member. He talks his way out of unnecessary combat most of the time, although has no qualms about drawing sword or conjuring flame when required. Fought the forces of Oblivion when they first invaded the town, but soon had to retreat when the Guard was overwhelmed. Came to the Imperial City for safety, and started recruiting warriors to form a civilian militia against the Daedric hordes. However, when they tried to create a structured force, the conflicts between the various members caused it to dissolve. Hephaestus then bought a horse and started patrolling the major roads, fighting any passing Daedra. Now, in the time of the Ayleid Crisis, he scouts ruins and ensures that they do not serve as gates on the Imperial Frontier.
TheBrownCow
Name: Fauun Meridius Charater Picture Age: 18 Gender: Male Personality: Quiet, curious. He always needs to know things and has little care for laws although trys to follow them for the better part. Very persuasive and always finds the right things to say about people. Doesn't always speak his mind but if he is with people he trusts and thinks to be his friends he will say whatever is on his mind. Race: Half-Ayleid, Half Dark Elf Class: Half Ayleid (custom class) Weapons: Iron sword, Iron bow Eye color: Glowy Green Hair Color: Blue Black Clothing: Either a suit of iron armor minus the helmet or a tan robe with elaborate markings. History: Fauun's earliest memory was in an orphanage. His parents were unknown, and left him there when he was just a baby. His strange appearance (mostly his eyes) scared other children away from him, thus he was an outsider. He never did know he was half Ayleid, only that he was different. From a young age he could cast spells, albiet it was only things like lighting a candle or levitating a feather, but his abilities were far more advanced than the other orphans. At fifteen years of age Fauun left the orphanage forever and went to Vvardenfell to look for his father, or possibly his mother. For two years he found no one. Begining to lose hope, he had stopped his search and gotten a job as a hunter. The job itself was good pay, and he even kept a portion of the meat. After about a week of that Fauun was at the market buying supplies for his next hunt when a Redguard started sprinting through the stalls, knocking people and goods over. The guards that had been chasing caught up just in time to see the redguard throwing a sweetroll that he stole to Fauun. Fauun's reflexes cause the sweetroll, but he didn't have the slightest idea what was happening. One of the guards believed Fauun to be the person of interest. That filthy redguard got off free, while Fauun was hauled into jail. Not long after, he was told he was being moved, by boat, to the Imperial City jails for further conviction. As he arrived, that day, it just so happens the emperor was readying himself to be smuggled out of the city via a secret passage. And the rest is history...
