teasbee
UPDATE: FIXED! I'm not sure which step fixed it BUT ... I made sure the permissions were correct on all of the folders (they were). I set up both DAI Tool Suite & MM to run as Admin. MM was updated today. Result: PAJAMAS! I'm using Windows 10, DirectX 12, DAI Tool Suite, and MM 0.57. I have no multi-player DLCs. I do have Black Emporium, Jaws of Hakkon, Flames of the Inquisition Weapons, Mount, Armor, & Deluxe Content. I have Mesh Quality at Ultra, Texture Quality at Fade Touched. I've been trying for days to get mods installed and it is not working. At first, I tried installing a couple of mods that I'd ensured had been updated since the last patch. When that didn't work, I decided to try to just install one mod; that still did not work. The mods I am trying to install singly are always supposedly updated for the latest patch, with some listed on DAI Modder Central as working with the lastest patch. http://i.imgur.com/ydiNrfL.png And it seems to have run and finished okay: http://i.imgur.com/IDjou9I.png I did run the installation under verbose, which I copy/pasted into an RTF file. Then I searched for the words "caution" and "error", which I did not find. So here is something really interesting. When I am done running MM, I go back to the DAI\Update folder and the 'Patch_ModManagerMerge' folder does not show up (I right click/refreshed, also backed out & came back in, closed the folder and reopened it). I've noticed this issue repeatedly during the last few days of trying to get mods installed. http://i.imgur.com/YZakTGM.png And yet if I go back to MM, put a check mark next to "Choose custom merge destination" and click "Merge" (Note: I don't actually merge it again, I'm just getting that dialogue box to open), I can see the directory: http://i.imgur.com/3duRR1C.png I've double checked that the file locations are exactly the same by copying and pasting them into a document, one below the other. Same directory. So with this dialogue open, I right click the "Patch_ModManagerMerge" folder and select "Open in a new window". And now I have 2 identical but not identical folders: http://i.imgur.com/WNzcUHL.png I'm fairly well experienced with computers but I have never seen that happen before. I've been able to duplicate it a number of times. I am curious if this is the problem, if they are actually 2 separate locations and the game is looking for the merged data in one place but it's actually in the other. I've tried to copy the merged folder from the update directory I can see it in to the update directory I cannot see it in and this is the interesting but ultimately useless error message I receive: http://i.imgur.com/CimhgHh.png This is what the package.mft file in the "Patch_ModManagerMerge" directory says: Name patchAuthoritativeVersion 12ModManager v0.57 alpha Anyway, now I've installed a PJ mod, so I open Origin, open DA:I and here is my Inquisitor in the super plain and frankly quite ugly standard pajamas. Don't even get me started on the hair. http://i.imgur.com/No5bm9V.png Exit DA:I; exit Origin; delete "Patch_ModManagerMerge" directory.Move PJ mod to a different location.Move a different updated mod (inventory space this time) into the mod directory.Go through all the above steps to install, check verbose output for errors (none), start Origin, start DA:I, look at my inventory: No mod. Mods I've tried: PajamasInventory SpaceMore Pajamas Please help. I am losing my ever lovin' mind here. Edited August 24, 2015 by teasbee
asereht8699
Many of the MODs I installed for apperances required me to have ULTRA graphic settings applied and the default was medium. Once I changed that they all appeared correctly. In game -->options --> graphics --> mesh ultra etc. see if that helps.
teasbee
Many of the MODs I installed for apperances required me to have ULTRA graphic settings applied and the default was medium. Once I changed that they all appeared correctly. In game -->options --> graphics --> mesh ultra etc. see if that helps. Well I already had most things set to Ultra - all but things that will affect shadow quality, water, spell effects, vegetation, etc. But I went in and took it off custom and set it to ultra instead. No go. No mods.
