kitsuneshoujo
So there is a mod for DA2 that lets us walk faster, both with running and actually walking. Is there such a file with DAO, and where is it? I think I could figure out how to change the speeds if I know where the file is to extract it or whatever. encinodude
I'm guessing that the walking animations would be located in the anims.erf in "Dragon Age\packages\core\data". There's half a gig worth of files in there, though, so you may have a whole lot of sifting to do.
kitsuneshoujo
The DA2 mod is just a gda (I think?) file that you edit the numbers of. Im wondering it the DAO file is the same as the DA2 file. Edit: I found the apr_base.gda in the 2da.erf file. Upping the game walk speed has funny results because everyone walks like they are in fast forward. lol It might be a work around for making the party walk when you do... encinodude
You've also got to take into consideration how this will affect cutscenes. Unless cutscenes draw from a different animation file, I can't see how editing the walk speed won't mess them up.
kitsuneshoujo
Well it doesnt seem to screw them up any... and I think it does draw from different animations because I was watching my companions actually walk behind me instead of darting around like they are ADD-riddled.
