Abramul
When I cast the spell in the party, it sends everyone through the roof, literally. It also fails to remove stuff from inventories. I had tested it on guards and Everscamps outside before, although of course that didn't get saved, and it did pretty much the same thing, but with the difference that the guards fell back to earth and immediately zoomed back up again rather than shooting up from below. I confirmed one kill (Mothril), inferred another (the guard, from his shield laying on the ground), and was informed of several Essentials being repeatedly knocked unconscious. Looking at the script, there's nothing in it that could cause this. I've checked my active mods, and none of them change the script. I didn't check for changes to the spell, but it appears with the proper effects in-game. The only thing I've seen that resembles this is my Meteoric Rise spell, and that rarely exhibits the bouncing behavior. I made sure the mod containing that doesn't alter either the spell OR the script. EDIT: The quest update works properly.
Abramul
Also seem to have intermittent problems with the Countess disappearing (she seems to be in the doorway, and I can talk to her, but she's invisible to even Detect Life) and the console being unable to 'focus' on a clicked object. I'm going to try cloning the script, and reassigning the script-effect in the spell. If that doesn't work, am I missing anything interesting by using SetStage? (Specifically, dialogue and such. I already know what the spell is SUPPOSED to do.) Something I hadn't noticed is that the spell does seem to correctly remove items on some NPCs, probably those who are in the relevant faction. It also preserves the sitting posture on some while causing them to shoot through the ceiling, which is odd-looking. EDIT: That worked. If someone else needs the file, post here and I'll attach it. Really no point putting it in the database, as it's a fix for a problem that I'm apparently the first person (on this board) to experience.
