HonoredShadow
I am new to this utility and Morrowind mods so i need your help! I installed MCA 5.1 (clean install) and Giants latest pack. I ran Morrowind and all worked fine. I read the readme of one of the mods and it said I needed to use TESTool to sort things out a bit. So i ran TESTool and hit the FIX IT button. But now when i go into Morrowind i see this error message as the game loads: Unable to locate creature '_MCA_imperial_cult_knights' in Leveled Creature '_MCA_adventurers'.Unable to locate creature '_MCA_imperial_cult_knights' in Leveled Creature '_MCA_ex_region_redmountain'.Unable to find script 'ASH_Zombie_S' on object 'ASH_Dead'. This did not appear before I ran TESTool. How can i fix this please? I am desperate to continue my adventures! If I click load and try one of my game saves the game crashes at 'Initialise'. If I click new game, it still crashes at the 'Initialise' part of loading. Please, please help i dont know how to fix this. I had a look at the construction kit and could not figure out what to do to fix this. I dont mind if i never see these creatures in the game I just want it fixed! Thanks for any help you can give. Marxist ßastard
I believe that if TESTool cleans a mod via the "fix it" button, it'll save the original mod somewhere in your data files folder, with a different extension. You should try restoring the mods in question by deleting the mangled versions and putting the old ones back in place. If you cannot find the old versions, download them again. If you're still hell-bent on cleaning your mods, only use the "merge leveled lists" option in TESTool (and, of course, use the data files tool in Morrowind's launcher or TESTool itself enable the plugin that TESTool creates after you use this option --- you did remember to do that after using "fix it," didn't you?). For everything else, you should give TESPCD a whirl.
