Depressing Google Searches for Update.esm

Hello...Im kinda new to Nexus and skyrim modding...I was wondering if anybody could help me out .my Skyrim data folder is missing the update.esm file so i cant use nexus mods.What do I do...YOUR HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED,BTW Google has me coming up blank....PLEEEEEAAAASE HELP!!!

Revalidate skyrim through steam. Google that. Also wrong forum?

Yep...anything you need you can get right from Steam (even if you have to start from scratch and do a fresh install.) And though you can play your game on offline mode, any legit copies had to be invalidated through Steam (regardless of where purchased) and are always listed in your Steam library for you to re-install if you have issues.
