steelserpent7
I haven't seen any mods anywhere about this, nor tutorials or possible leads, correct me if I'm wrong please, but I was trying to see if there was a way to sort of make 2-handed weapons be held in one hand properly?I feel like this is just another simple fix/oversight I'm making, but more or less like...Imagine if you were to hold the baseball bat, ready to attack, in one hand, instead of holding it out to the side like a retard or you were up to plate? Like the weapon facing down, or even up, like in first person. Just, y'know, not looking stupid as it gets in 3rd person.Would I just switch the grip/animations, or would that cause mesh/clip issues?I might just be overthinking all of this. ObieDwyer
There is a mod for Skyrim called Unlocked Grip which does something similar. I'm not sure how it works exactly but I'm fairly sure it's possible to retrieve the player's equipped item and change the grip animations via a script. Of course it's probably going to look wonky and cause some clipping issues seeing as the two-handed weapons are fairly large for the character to just slap on his waist. steelserpent7
Actually, nah, I figured it out.Literally just changed the thing in the GECK from default 2-handed weapon to default 1-handed weapon. Changed power attack and 1st person animations to the 2-handed ones.Don't do drugs, kids! You miss the most obvious things half the time.
