Order of install

Hi.

 

Can you guys help me with some mod suggestions and the order of install? I installed a bunch of mods recently and even though I used Loot and FNVEdit to clean and create a merged patch, the game still froze very often.

 

What I want is:

-some better graphics(but don't go overboard, NMC Large makes my game stutter)

-AWOP for diversity

-realistic weapon damage(but not Project Nevada or other huge mods. I want ONLY realistic damage)

-less ammo found in the wastes

-darker nights

-nightvision for the Elite Ranger helmet or Power Armor helmets

 

I DON'T want:

-a combination of huds. If you can recommend just one, great, if not, I can do without.

-realistic needs like drinking and eating.

-new items like weapons or mods.

 

Basically, I want the minimalist version that will offer these features, as I've learned the hard way the more mods I have, the more likely my game experience will be f****d. I would appreciate it if you could include the order of the compatibility patches as well, as those will also cause problems.

NMC medium is a good start. It does help a lot. The next thing, and it is key to a lot of things, run your game through FNV4gb, as well as stutter remover and anti-crash. I run a few different HUD's, but all controlled through MCM. If I were to go for basic HUD, I would go with Darnified's UI, and probably either immersive HUD, or oHud. Or even Adjustable HUD. It's really a pick and choose, after MCM. Advanced Recon stuff for your helmets. I am pretty sure there are a few more. But the Recon one is, imo, one of the best. For weapon damage, try the one by Wrankss, Realistic Weapons Damage - New Vegas. For darker nights, either Nights are Darker by Sarge198, or New Vegas Darker Nights by quoter1. AWOP is good, but less ammo? Took some looking, but this one might be for you: Rarity Scalers - Items - Ammo - Caps - Meds by Xodarap777.
