Fallout 3 ambient music in Fallout: New Vegas

It would be pretty cool if the ambient music from Fallout 3 (The music that plays while you are walking around the wasteland) could be modded into Fallout: New Vegas using scripting, Fallout: New Vegas uses a different dynamic music system to Fallout 3. Fallout 3 uses 8 full length tracks for it's ambient music while Fallout: New Vegas uses 100+ very short tracks that it seams together.

I find that the Fallout 3 ambient music is much more atmospheric and I would appreciate it a lot if it could be modded into the game!

Thanks

I'll look into it then.

EDIT:

Well from what I'm seeing, the Fo3 ambient tracks actually are being used.

They are only used in some locations, I think Westside uses some of the Fo3 tracks, I thought it would be cool to have them replace the ambient music when wandering the wasteland.

Hey, this is kind of unrelated, but it does deal with the music. I would like the dark theme that plays at Nipton to be changed too. The Legion attack happened months ago in my game, the Legion is gone, and I'm using Nipton restoration mods. So it breaks the immersion to hear that theme there.

This I can do however a FO3 music replacer is out of my league. I just don't understand how the dynamic music systems work.

Any track for Nipton you want in particular?
