I actually don't mind learning to do it myself, but I would very much prefer to find someone with a little more experience under their belt to give me a hand.If your patient I'm writing up a tutorial for creating completely custom creatures that will tell you what you need to do. Yes I could make him a complete new creature including animations, but I'm up to my neck in my own projects so the best I can offer is a tutorial in the coming weeks. On the plus side for your project you won't have to make the mesh, UV map and texture him which is the major time consuming part. The tutorial will be based around 3DS MAX and not Blender. After I killed Mr. House there is a Securitron model-2060B with an empty face screen outside Victors shack Festus AI could be uploaded into that body. Of course I'm just tossing idea's out there I don't know how hard or easy doing such a thing might be. I just thought that Victors face kind of looks like Festus and with a change to his cowboy appearance he could look like Festus . . . Or Woody from Toy Story. A securitron is an interesting idea. With a bit of basic talent it shouldn't be hard to draw some woody faces (there's a function for changing faces so you could draw one for several different emotions. Another might be a protectron. Both the hat and mustache from his original model would transfer/translate well to that type of bot.....you can have boots, as well. No harder to do a securitron follower than any other bot (except for a little bit of extra work for drawing some screens). Festus doesn't have a ton of audio, but I'd bet his voice is easier to impersonate that many other NPCs (because it's such a caricature).
