Agiagi
I really love TW3, but the one thing I don't like about this game is the way it handles leveling / stat scaling. To me, this problem becomes especially apparent when you venture out into the wilds at low levels and encounter a seemingly harmless foe (like a wolf or a bandit) and they are something like level 20 and take you a million hits to kill. Now I'm not complaining about difficulty here. To the contrary: I don't know in what way a mod like this would be possible, but I always wanted TW3 to have stat scaling similar to games like Dark Souls. What that means is that creature strength is not determined by the region they are in, but by what kind of creature they are. (e.g. any normal wolf being relatively easy to kill, while supposedly stronger creatures like drakes taking a lot more effort to slay). Furthermore, this means getting rid of enemy levels altogether in exchange for "base stats" similar for each creature of the same type. The player would still gain stat bonuses through gear and leveling, but the effect of these stats would be a lot weaker. This would mean that a "low level" Geralt would still be able to kill strong foes, but it would take him considerably more effort (not in terms of number of hits, but in terms of player skill, e.g. evading, preparation through alchemy, clever use of signs, etc.). On the other hand, a Geralt with level 30 in mastercrafted gear would still die to a few hits of a bandit or a wolf, if he is not careful. As I said, I have no idea in what ways this would be possible as a mod and if it is, it will probably be an enormous task.
