theReivax11
I've seen so many forums about infinite loading screens. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. My first issue was I couldn't load the game, I started a new save, and loaded my quicksave (it wasn't my habit to manually save). And it worked, I loaded it. After loading, I immediately created a manual save, and turned off autosave. When I left the mormon fort (because that's where I was) I get the infinite loading screen again, I restart the game, I was able to load it, I left the fort, infinite loading screen. Any way to fix it without having to start over? I want to post my save but it was too big.
Cheezeball20136
Try the following.Minimize the game when you are at the main menu, start the Task Manager either by using Ctrl + Alt + Del or right-clicking the Taskbar and clicking "Task Manager". After, go to "Processes" Tab, click "Show processes from all users"(Admin membership is required on the account) and look for "FalloutNV.exe" and right click it. After right clicking it, click on "Set affinity" and make the game use only 2 CPUs, not all. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are made for 1 (Fallout 3) and 2 (New Vegas) CPUs. After that, go to the Load menu and load your save manually, without the Continue button.
