Boodrl
Hello, What do I have to do in order to have something remain a solid colour on a hair such as a bandanna, ribbon, or hat? I've added my hairstyles that have these features but they would change colours as I selected the hair colour in character creation. I believe it has something to do with the texture files but I'm not sure which one.
Silberz
In the sense that when you select a color change it now?? And are you sure that you have the texture? http://dragcave.net/image/joSQ.gif Click the egg please.
Boodrl
I'm sure I had the right texture. For example I had a hair model with a ribbon on the bottom. In the .dds file the ribbon was green so I assumed it would stay green while I choose my character's hair colour in character creation. As I select the hair colour the ribbon changes as well from green to ugly shades of green. Should the ribbon have it's separate .dds file or does the something need to be altered in the .dds file? hsli
Combine your bandanna, ribbon, or hat with the bald head model instead of the hair model. Make a new texture and UV map for the combination. Assign a new mao that points to the new texture. Be sure to have the right weight group for the new model as well. Also, you need to hack the mmh file to point to the new mao file. Edited March 30, 2011 by hsli
