Creating 'LOD2' Files

I'm working with Blender, so I'm not a big help.

(I'm using the bone weight of a vanilla LOD2 mesh for the new LOD2 file ( bone weight copy). The new LOD2 has reduced polygons. Blender has a script for that step but you can take just a vanilla LOD2 mesh as a reference... the one I had used to copy the bone weight.

When you 've mixed two meshes together you need for the texture a new uv- mapping and the bones need weights. To copy the bone weight of a vanilla mesh for your two wield meshes would be a way.

In case nobody will answer. I would ask over at the BSN site . There are still some guys active who are working with gmax or 3dsmax.

You can do this with every 3d graphic software.

Sounds like the script isn't working. What says the Blender error window? Can't find python or a missing mmh file etc?

That's my Blender Foundation folder: Here are all scripts I'm using for the import/export stuff.

I'm using the 0.20 script. When you click on the Dragon Age tool icon (in the script 0.20 folder), Blender should open and it should be possible to execute the script via the "window type "text editor". Then this window pops up.

Then you can click on msh tool to import a DA:O mesh. If you need the skeleton use the mmh tool and it will import the selected mesh with the bones into Blender.

I've sent you a pm with a blend save. Maybe it works with this.
