KOTR2 KotOR Steam update

OK so I played KotOR 2 way back when, and dug it huge. Like what do you mean it's unfinished? I played it through twice, then I got KotOR 1 on steam, played it through once, it was cool, but 2 was better.

 

Later I installed the Sith Lords restored content mod 1.6, and tried a third KotOR 2 run, but got bored about 20% in and stopped.

 

Now I see there's a steam update to KotOR 2:

Thing is, I don't have it on steam, I have disks. But I do feel like giving it another go.

 

So, what is the current best set of mods for KotOR 2? Nothing total-conversionish, probably just a widescreen / graphics mod, and some sort of restored content mod?
