BoatinRob
This is crazy - the game won't run unless the Mods folder is empty. If I put any mods in that folder, the game crashes before startup with "Script Compilation Errors" window. I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling Witcher 3 clean, and then putting in update 1.0.8.3. No change. Mod managers behave the same - fine if vanilla, but any mod enabled will crash the game before it loads. I'm on Win10 x64 BTW.
Drone456
Never personally had this issue, so I cannot attest to the validity of these solutions. However, hopefully one of these might solve your problem, since it sounds like what they're purporting to fix. https://www.reddit.com/r/witcher3mods/comments/3h44vx/for_anybody_having_script_compiler_errors_using/ http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/527/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fwitcher3%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D527%26preview%3D&pUp=1 Not sure if you want to just try one, or the other and see if that works. Or both at the same time. Good luck man, hopefully that helps you, and allows you to enjoy some of the great mods this game already has being made. Krzych04650
I had the same problem and this telemetryKeyword.ws fix mentioned above helped me. Edited September 3, 2015 by Krzych04650
BoatinRob
Boom, that did it! What an obscure bug, I'm surprised more people aren't having this issue. Thanks for the help - I shall depart from reality now. ;-)
