Hamthaak
Hey everybody, after installing the latest geforce driver for win10 (355.82) my skyrim wouldn´t start. I got a error message talking about d3d11.dll and some "createDXGIFactory2" issue.I read in another forum (the one that cannot be named ), that this latest driver and sweet FX don´t like each other.Well, I second that.I deleted everything related to SweetFX and the game runs. Apparently, going back to an older driver-version (353.30) should work as well. You have to delete these files in Skyrim folder:- d3d9.dll- d3d9.fx- dxgi.dll- dxgi.fx- injector.ini- shader.fx- SweetFX readme.txt- SweetFX_preset.txt- SweetFX_settings.txt- the SweetFX folder edit: english is my second language, so be patient, bitteschön. darkdream12
Hello i posted the fix in another post, but all you have to do is go to C:\Windows\System32 look for d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll copy and paste them into your main skyrim folder EDIT: sweetfx works for the Witcher 3 so i think this problem is more into dll's files for skyrim being outdated or something. darkdream12
No problem, glad it helped it took me a while to figure it out by myself since like you said, google find results regarding the SweetFX but thats about it. I think the DLL's used are out of date for windows 10 or something so we need the ones provided in windows 10 to be able to run it.
SoloCreep
Well holy chit man! I've been using my ENB with out the dxgi.dll for awhile now cause it would crash my game and also would limit me to using certain ENBs. With your fix I can use all of my files. SweetFX files are fully working now "smaa". I have spent hours upon hours trying all kinds of things to fix this problem. I installed the new ENB for Fallout 4 and thought to myself, what the heck I might as well see if I can get my Skyrim ENB SweeFX to work and came across this post. I am playing Fallout 4 now but I will also play Skyrim from time to time and so I thank you!

Mystik72
Hey, guys. That fix did not work for me, not actually. My Skyrim, upon a brand new fresh install of Windows 10, suggests:d3dx9_42.dll was not found; X3DAudio1_7.dll was not found; & XINPUT1_3.dll was not found. I looked within System32 for those files. I found the other files that you mentioned & I copied those to my Skyrim folder, while what was actually within my System32 folder was XINPUT1_4.dll, & not the other files I needed, even in similitude, not actually, & so forth.
