I'm getting closer to completing a tutorial I've been writing about custom creature creation, it describes the creation process using 3DS Max and Nifskope. It includes skeleton creation, rigging, dismemberment, exporting, animation creation, and the associated GECK work. Basically it should tell most experienced modders what to do in order to create a fully functional custom creature for FONV (and most likely FO3) from start to finish.

 

I am hoping I can get one or two modders who have experience with both 3DS Max and Nifskope to proof read it before I upload here. I'm probably about a week away from finishing and I thought I'd ask now to see if anyone is willing to help.

 

I might add even though it has many example pictures it is 36 pages now so there will be a fair bit of info to get through.

Yes I do thanks very much, I'll drop you a PM when I'm ready probably won't be for a week. Just have to fininsh off about the different types of animations and a bit about imbedded weapons in the GECK and I'm done.
