Mandigrrrr Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) Okay, EVERY TIME I kill, or an NPC kills a random "Thief" in Riften, it is only a matter of seconds before I hear someone shouting "STOP THIEF!" It's like they are on a never ending spawn! In the last 2 (game) days I have killed AT LEAST 15 thieves... I've resorted to throwing their bodies into the river so they're not laying all over town. Now, the loot is nice and all but I'm really getting tired of having to resurrect the townies because I feel like they shouldn't have been killed by the overwhelming amount of thieves in their town. (Usually I won't do this but it just got to a point where it was getting ridiculous.) Does anyone know what's going on? I Only JUST started the thieves guild at level 33 and only have done the first quest involving Golden Glow Estate, so I don't think it has anything to do with my thieves guild thriving, I can assure you... It's not. I've tried searching elsewhere, but no luck... any suggestions? http://i.imgur.com/3LemAG6.png AFTER Already throwing many in the river.. and this is only in one spot .____. Laereal Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Do you have a mod that adds more thieves in Riften? That looks like an excessive amount of thieves spawning, which isn't really the norm. The thieves in my game are barely dangerous and only get into scuffles with town guards.
vram1974 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Perhaps you can use console MFG to click on the thief and see what mod made the last change. You might discover a mod is messing with it when it shouldn't be.

That's the weird thing. I don't really have any mods that change Riften in any way. Perhaps you can use console MFG to click on the thief and see what mod made the last change. But I can't think of anything at all that would be doing this with thieves, that seems like such a weird thing to change.
