Christoph117
So I had some trouble uninstalling Oblivion a while back, I manually deleted everything, had files left over and I couldn't be bothered to delete them. So before I went to install it again, I deleted the stuff in the registry, deleted wrye bash, obse, obmm etc. I had a sudden urge today to play Oblivion again with all the fancy graphics mods, so went to install Oblivion, installed shivering isles, updated to the latest patch, and went to try and play the game. Instant crash! I have now installed and uninstalled Oblivion 6 times tonight to try and make it work, I've put the install folder on different drives, tried running Oblivion.exe as admin, and nothing. :wallbash: All my drivers are up to date, and my laptop can definitely handle the game  Laptop specs:Acer 8930GIntel X9100 Extreme Core overclocked @3.6GHz6GB DDR3 PC3-8500 1066MHzOverclocked nVidia Geforce 9700M GT2x 500GB WD Scorpio Black 7200RPM18.4" LCD 1920x1080Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit If anybody could point me in the right direction as to why this won't work, I'll be eternally grateful! Edit: Disregard this, I have solved the problem! I had a Wrye Bash folder left inside the My Games folder, deleted it, it now works!
