theuseless
Hi, so I have a few more advanced questions. Maybe somebody that scripts with Notepad ++ could help me. I just ran across the program a few months ago and it makes the task much more fluid. If you don't have it, I provided a link to the free download and syntax package for Oblivion below. So, my questions are as follows: 1: How do I make it so that the Oblivion language is default for files I save? Is there a setting that makes it so that it is the default language? Or is it that I have to save a file as a certain type in order for it to recognize it was written in Oblivion language? Is there a piece of code that I have to include as a header? How do I do this. I ask because I like to save the files as .txt but when I open them, I have manually apply the Oblivion scripting language. This is a minor inconvenience, but I would like to be able to skip that step if able. 2: How do I highlight and replace all instances of a certain selection? When I highlight something, it shows me all the other instances of the highlighted word. I wish to be able to mass edit these. I'm fairly sure that it is possible, but I haven't found any good documentation on Notepad ++. 3: Is there a spellcheck function? How do I make it spellcheck for me automatically? Well, that is it for my request for now. If this is the wrong forum for this, I apologize. thanks and kudos if you ain't got em yet, theuseless Notepad ++http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download Obse syntax highlighter:http://elderscrolls.filefront.com/file/CS_OBSE_Script_Syntax_Highlighter_for_Notepad_503;95846 Edited April 1, 2011 by theuseless
