trilliagan4727 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I am running a LOT of texture mods and follower mods, as well as FNIS, sky ui and more I have had surpising no issues except for this one quest my game runs perfect but when I leave from getting the jagged crown (going outside the main door) I get CTD. I loaded a older save and everything is fine but i fear trying to complete the main quest line is screwed. Does anyone have any clue why I am only having a issue with this quest? I use MO and I tried disable all the mods i could to see if I could get out but to no avail the only things I couldn't disable were the unoffical patches(which cause CTD if I disable).
Aintiarna Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Have you installed the FNIS fix? might help. Disabling mods wont help you to get out once the problem has occurred. Sometimes waiting for several days inside can help to allow the game to do a little exterior cell cleanup. If that fails, then open the console and coc to a safe cell like the bannered mare in whiterun. Then leave and carry on with the quest as normal, just avoid the exterior of Korvanjund for a while until the cell has reset. It wont break your quest, don't worry. Uninstalling lots of mods in the middle of a playthrough however will probably break things. Post your mod list and we can have a look at it and see what might be causing the CTD. Probably something that changes the soldiers you killed outside in some way and the game CTDs when it tries to load their corpses.
