Curtain Call at the Tampico - Dean domino death bug

hi guys,i've been playing dead money and i recently got to the point we're you have to kill dean domino.when i kill him a message appears "dean has died" but when i press ok it doesn't seem to disapear.i looked it up at the vault wiki (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Curtain_Call_at_the_Tampico) and it has a mod link for the bug that doesn't work.does anyone know where i can find the bug mod ? thanks!

Hey, I know quite some time has passed since this post, but I have the solution for your glitch, without any mod, if you don't mind cheating a bit:

You will need: - At least three (3) C4 charges;

- One (1) detonator to blow the charges up;

- High sneaking skill (I suggest 100, or at least 90);

- High agility (8+).

Steps: 1 - activate the console commands (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_console_commands);

...........2 - in the commands, type "TCL", without the quotes;

...........3 - pass through the wall in the right side of the backstage door. Make sure Dean doesn't see you;

...........4 - disable "TCL";

...........4 - step up the metal ramp, sneaking, and take the door to your left, going behind Dean;

...........5 - steal the key Dean is carrying;

...........6 - set the C4 charges around Dean;

...........7 - jump off the metal ramp to the stage, going in the exit door's direction, unlocking the door with Dean's key;

...........8 - when facing the door to the Sierra Madre's Lobby, save your game, preparing the detonator (make sure your AUTO SAVE option is enabled);

...........9 - set the charges off with the detonator, immediately using the door to the Lobby after hearing the explosion;

.........10 - after the loading screen, you will appear at the lobby and, if I'm right, the message of "Dean has died" will still appear;

 

*HERE, TWO THINGS MAY HAPPEN:*

 

......10.1 - there will be only one message of "Dean has died"; go back into the Theater and loot Dean's body.

 

*OR*

 

......10.2 - the bug will continue (don't worry, that happened to me too). If that's the case, close the game, open it again and load from the last AUTO SAVE (which will be your entrance into the Lobby or back into the Theater after going into the Lobby). Hopefully, the bug will cease to exist, as happened with me. Loot Dean's body and be happy!

 

Hope it helped. Oh, and remember, this "technique" is not something I invented; it's a solution from a dead Forum I found while I was roaming, looking for patches/mods. In my opinion, this is a way easier way. Have fun :)
