davidlallen
Please download the "nccs companion system" and "geck powerup" from newvegasnexus. NCCS makes it easy to build companions and has very complete documentation. Geck powerup allows geck to show error messages when your script has an error. No modder should be without it. Huglarh
I will~ actually what he suggested "might" work using creatures. Ill mess around with it and give it a try. EDIT: No dice... It sorta works but he gets stuck every now and then, and so forth...
davidlallen
What do you mean by "he gets stuck now and then"? Are you using a new navmesh in a room you created? There are several reasons why NPC's may get stuck in navmeshes, for example because you did not finalize, or because of bugs in handling "esp" files which are fixed by converting to "esm" files. Huglarh
Ah that would explain it. Well Not only, during movement or after a fight, he would sound like he is moving but he wont move. and the Entire time using this Follower program, He would not attack at all. I think i should of used a different sentrybot. I dunno, i will try one unchanged. As for Navmeshes, Well i do have two custom houses i made without them so they hangout at the door, i dunno how to set em up.
davidlallen
Please see the navmesh section of the tutorials at geck.bethsoft.com. As you may know, no NPCs (including existing companions) will move in any areas without navmesh; so it is pretty important.
Huglarh
What about the issue of him not attacking?
davidlallen
If you have used a standard NCCS script and the follower does not attack when you attack, you may need help from the NCCS team. It is possible they will see this thread; otherwise you may wish to send a PM to herculine or NosRhyfelwr and link to this thread.
