master6TheOriginal
Hey guys :DI've just reached 1000 DLs and I am very happy to be able to get into the mod authors forum :)Now, that Skyrim is pretty aged, it stoll looks good with mods, but one thing never got changed that I would know: The ground meshes. When you wak arround in the world of Skyrim, you often see pretty low-poly ground meshes with way to sharp edges, so the idea was born to create a ground mesh overhaul by creasing the vanilla mehses. But I am only a single dude and there are hundrets of ground meshes to be creased. So, I am looking for some guys that know their way arround in 3D-programs like Cinema 4D or 3dsMax and are willing to spend some time to thos project. I started with 'rocktundraland01' and creased it by about 300 more plygons, just arround the most visable corners and when I change the blending o flat and turn the mesh arround, it looks a lot nicer than before.I hope you like the idea :D
gezegond
Seems good. You might want to focus on specific places to work on to make it more manageable. For example there was a mod that changed the meshes of the roads. You can find places that you think are prominent and are worth the effort and only remesh those. I think the rock meshes are the worst ones, so I'll focus on them
