Looking for good Rock and Roll/Rockabilly precursors

Ah, I see what you mean. Some others might not fit either but, anyways, here's all those other tunes that I mangled the links for:

Andrews Sisters

Bing & the Andrew Sisters

Sarah Vaughn

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Billie Holiday

Summertime

Dinah Washington (switched from Billie Holiday)

And here's another one that, imho, is just shameful that it wasn't in FONV from the beginning (but I guess it was a bit later than the tunes they used. Seems kinda fitting though)

Elvis

Viva Las Vegas

Gonna throw this out there too, on the off chance you get the inclination to add a "Reggae Hour" or something, here's a few classics (early 70's?). Bit of a FO connection with references to stealin' stuff and fightin' against the odds. And I think that old reggae had all sorts of influence on rock & other later styles of music.

Jimmy Cliff

Desmond Dekker

Israelites

(one of my absolute all time faves of any genre)

Toots & The Mayals

Pressure Drop

Johnny Nash

I Can See Clearly Now

not sure about the fit of this one, but I love it soooooo much I had to mention it

Thanks.

I'm not using Rum an Coca Cola, mainly because Coke doesn't exist in Fallout.

Actually, I'm using it in the Rock and Roll/Rockabilly station.

Hmm, I could use the first one on one of my station, the rest I'm unsure about. Reggae isn't really my thing.

Anyways, if your curious, here's the names of the stations and what music they play.

Wild Primm Radio (60's, early 70's Country Rock, Blues Rock and Folk Rock)

Khan Radio (late 60's bilker music)

Radio Roots (Proto Rock)

NCR Swing Radio (20-40's swing)

Legion Musical entertainment (Roman music, mostly from movie soundtracks)

Kings Radio Freeside (50's and Early 60's rock)

I like the sounds of that - something I'd download for sure. Hope all goes well!

Glad I have one downloader already, even in the earliest stages!
